Requirements for delivery (read before signing up):

    • Live within or immediately adjacent to the area outlined in the photo above.
    • We do not schedule a specific time to drop off - it is usually in the mid-late afternoon. We are driving straight from our jobsite to your place. We might show up the following day or several weeks after signing up.
    • You must have an accessible site for a dump truck – minimum space ~10' wide and ~20' clearance above.
    • Our trucks are heavy, if you want us to drive off a solid road it may leave ruts.

    Wood Chip Details

When pruning and removing trees we use our chipper to shred branches into small pieces, creating wood chips.

    • These wood chips are organic, unprocessed, and nutrient rich.
    • They are great for gardens, trails, around trees/shrubs, composting, etc. They are probably not what you want for a highly manicured landscape area.
    • Most loads are a variety of species. They are not uniform chips like what you would buy at a landscaping center. Depending on the time of year, they will have leaves in them.
    • We will not bring you wood chips which have invasive seeds (buckthorn, etc.) in them.
    • Studies have found arborist wood chips to be one of the best performers in terms of moisture retention, temperature moderation, weed control, and sustainability. Log Details

When removing trees, whatever we do not chip (~4” diameter and greater) remain as logs.

    • Great for people who burn a lot of wood!
    • We will only deliver loads which have ~90% hardwood or more. Unless you request something different.  Hardwood would be considered ash, maple, birch, oak, etc. Softwood would be considered all conifers, poplars, basswood, etc.
    • Logs are not cut into firewood lengths.  They are cut into random sizes - up to 13' in length. Most are usually between 3’-6’ in length.
    • Log diameters would be ~4” up to ~36” (most are between 8-20” diameter).
    • Loads of logs usually have some rakings from final clean up mixed in with them.

IF YOU ARE SOMEONE WHO CAN ACCEPT 10 TRUCK LOADS OF CHIPS OR LOGS A YEAR, WE MAY DUMP FREE OF CHARGE. You must have an open/stable area to maneuver trucks and be within the highlighted area shown. This offer is only for those who live within the highlighted area-do not sign up if you are not.
